About our work on Farms

Our profit is in the relationships and friendships we build

Founded as a charity in 1943, Concordia is recognised for providing high quality seasonal workers to UK growers for 70 years. As a non-profit organisation and with no shareholders to please, we are able to keep our costs to a minimum and can offer our growers excellent value for money. Our aim is to promote good relationships between our growers and our seasonal workers; which means we make every effort to provide a good service to both farms and to the people we place. The welfare of every person we place on a farm is important to us. We offer help and assistance to any Concordia member who finds themselves in a difficult situation through no fault of their own and offer pastoral care for Growers to ensure our participants’ stay in the UK is a good one.

“We would never be able to pick our harvest without participants from Concordia. The responsibility of having young participants on our farm is huge but Concordia’s guidelines and recommendations have helped us give our seasonal employees a high standard of safe accommodation on site. When you call Concordia you find they can’t do enough for you.”
